Rebel Wilson is breaking her silence on all of the legal drama surrounding her directorial debut The Deb .
If you recall, the 45-year-old actress’ first called out the producers for inappropriate behavior and embezzlement in July 2024, and said they were burying the movie and holding it from being released.
The producers then filed a defamation lawsuit , as did the star of the movie , Charlotte MacInnes , who was reportedly at the center of the inappropriate behavior.
Now, Rebel is speaking out about Charlotte ‘s lawsuit for reporting alleged harrassment.
“I felt that in my position as director, I had to report that. And the moment I did, [it] started all the kind of retaliation against me,” she said on 60 Minutes Australia .
