Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), a vocal critic of President Donald Trump, has officially announced his bid for California governor. This comes as a Trump official urged the Justice Department to investigate Swalwell over alleged tax and mortgage fraud -- something that's been done to three other Democrats. Swalwell has denied any wrongdoing. He joins “The Weekend: Primetime”, in his first interview since announcing his run, to discuss his plans to help manage affordability issues in the state, as well as vowing to continue fighting Trump’s rogue immigration tactics and retribution campaign.
