AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The high school volleyball season has come to a close with no local teams winning state championships this year, but two Bushland players were given awards for their efforts in the playoffs this season.

Berklee Billington and Ava Permenter were both named to the all-tournament team in Class 3A Division I.

Billington leads team in state title game

Billington had an incredible sophomore season this year and also did very well in the playoffs. In the state title game, she led the team in kills with 18 while also getting a block and 11 digs.

Billington credited her teammates for her success on the court this season.
