The police have launched an appeal after a 12-year-old girl has been reported missing in South Wales.

Emily is from Cwmbran and hasn't been seen in over 24 hours. She was last seen in Llanedeyrn, Cardiff at 8pm on Saturday 22 November.

She also has links to the Pentwyn and Pontprennau areas, according to the force.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen Emily or has any information to contact them.

A spokesperson for South Wales police said: "We are appealing for your help to locate 12-year-old Emily, from Cwmbran, who was last seen in Llanedeyrn, Cardiff, at 8pm on Saturday, 22 November.

"She has links to the Pentwyn and Pontprennau areas.
