Braves sign 3.41 ERA pitcher to $2.25 million contract

The Atlanta Braves got some offseason business done early on Sunday.

They've signed Joel Payamps to a one-year contract worth $2.25 million, according to an announcement from the Braves.

He pitched his final two games of the season with the Braves.

Before that, he had spent most of the 2025 season with the Milwaukee Brewers .

Payamps has a 3.41 ERA in his MLB career.

He did struggle in 2025, putting up a 6.84 ERA in 30 games.
