Hours after an uninspiring 24-10 home loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders decided to relieve offensive coordinator Chip Kelly of his duties.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders fired Chip Kelly on Sunday evening after suffering their fifth straight loss. Head coach Pete Carroll has not yet announced who the interim OC will be.

The Raiders fell to 2-9 to the visiting Cleveland Browns, with quarterback Geno Smith taking 10 sacks in the humiliating defeat. After the game, cameras showed Geno Smith flipping the bird at heckling Raiders fans.

After serving as the offensive coordinator under Ryan Day for the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes last year, Chip Kelly signed a multi-year contract with the Raiders to become their next OC.
