INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield suffered a left shoulder sprain in Sunday night's 34-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and did not play in the second half.
He will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury, according to coach Todd Bowles.
After leading the Buccaneers on a touchdown drive late in the second quarter, Mayfield went into the medical tent on Tampa Bay's sideline. He was listed as questionable to return because of the injury to his non-throwing shoulder but came back in for Tampa Bay's next drive.
