GLENDALE, Ariz. – There was a lot of good and a lot of not as good.
Quarterback Trevor Lawrence kept throwing and playing through it all – and because he did, and because he made big plays at big times, he stood on tall and bold on a winner's podium after a very big Jaguars victory Sunday.
"I'm never going to play scared," he said.
Lawrence, the Jaguars' fifth-year quarterback, threw 3 touchdown passes and directed what turned into the game-winning drive in a 27-24 overtime victory over the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium Sunday . Those plays countered 4 turnovers by Lawrence, 3 interceptions and a fumble that was returned for an early touchdown.
The turnovers kept the Cardinals in the game. The touchdowns are a big reason the Jaguars won for a second time in as many weeks
