SAVANNAH, Ga (KBTX) - The second seeded Texas A&M volleyball team swept 15th seeded Vanderbilt 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 27-25) in the quarterfinals of the SEC Volleyball Tournament.
Why did Texas A&M win? While the Commodores kept it close through all three sets, the Aggies were able to hit their fourth-straight game over .300 percent.
Standout performance: Logan Lednicky led the Aggies with 14 kills and Maddie Waak led with 40 assists, tying the program record for assists in a three-set postseason match.
What’s next? A Lonestar Showdown rematch in the semifinals on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
