In theory, most would expect a team coming off a four-day break to look refreshed and ready to go. In reality, teams don’t quite operate like that.

Instead, the Lakers looked like a team trying to find their rhythm throughout much of the game on Sunday in Utah. Eventually, they found something close to it during the second half and fourth quarter, building up a 13-point lead.

Fortunately, that was almost exactly big enough to withstand a wild closing to the game where the Lakers dribbled the air out of the ball and nearly blew the game. In the end, though, it’s a win and another big one on the road as they move to 8-2 away from Crypto.com Arena.
