Pakistan Shaheens emerged the champions of the Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 after they beat Bangladesh A in an engrossing contest involving a Super Over after both the teams scored 125 runs each in their stipulated 20 overs here at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha on Sunday night.
It is Pakistan’s third title in the Asian Cricket Council’s development event for ‘A’ teams, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board press release.
Muhammad Irfan Khan joined Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Haris in the list of victorious skippers. Shaheens also remained unbeaten in the tournament beating Oman, India ‘A’, UAE and Sri Lanka ‘A’ on their way to the final.
