On paper, a point against Hibs to sustain an unbeaten domestic streak after a tough week is no bad result. Glasgow City manager Leanne Ross, however, could not shake off a feeling that the point taken at Petershill against the defending champions could have been three.

After exiting the Europa Cup in Portugal this week following 120 minutes against Sporting Lisbon there was a feeling that a draw would suit the league leaders.

But after pointing to a second-half display where Ross felt City ought to have scored meant that there was a lingering sense of 'what if' from the Petershill manager.

“The biggest frustration comes from our first-half performance because I thought we were really poor,” said Ross.

“Hibs sat off us and allowed us to play but quality wasn’t there.
