Volunteers serve Thanksgiving meals to those in need in Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Volunteers from 'Neighbors Feeding Neighbors' came together to serve Thanksgiving dinner to those in need in the community.

The group emphasized that it was a community effort to make the event possible.

Volunteers smoked nearly 50 turkeys and distributed more than 400 pre-cooked meals Sunday afternoon.
