Archer flips from UCF to Utah
Greenwood quarterback Kane Archer, who committed to the University of Central Florida in April, reopened his recruitment Saturday then committed to Utah on Sunday.
Archer, 6-1 and 207 pounds, also considered SMU and Appalachian State before picking the Knights.
He had accumulated scholarship offers from Michigan, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Louisville, Tennessee, Florida State and Kentucky during the recruiting process.
He has completed 242 of 321 passes for 2,959 yards and 26 touchdowns for the undefeated Bulldogs this season while throwing only 4 interceptions. Archer has also rushed for 1,021 yards and 20 touchdowns.
