Almost 30 major retailers have made significant changes to their websites after Martin Lewis called them out for misleading shoppers. In July, MoneySavingExpert.com revealed that the brands were sharing inaccurate information on a consumer's right to return items.

Lewis’ site reviewed the 400 most popular retail brands in the UK and found that the return policies of 30 companies (one is no longer trading) didn’t meet the legal minimum standards. After this, 24 of the companies corrected their websites, but four (Carluccio’s, Evans, Freemans and Joules ) held out until Lewis threatened to name and shame them on his popular ITV show.
