Warning: Walking into D and E Collectibles in Sharpsburg may cause serious nostalgia.
Open the door to the shop, and you’re greeted by rows upon rows of G.I. Joes, Hot Wheels and other childhood staples.
“The thing that happens at least once a day here is someone walks in and says, ‘I remember I had this when I was a kid,’ ” said store Manager Hunter Johnston. “It’s a little bit like memory lane in here.”
Take a left on memory lane into the collectible toy shop’s second room, and you’ll find shelves dedicated to “Star Wars” — with action figures depicting characters ranging from Darth Vader to those only the most serious fan could identify — WWE, Marvel and more.
“If you’re into anything to do with pop culture, we will find an item for you,” Johnston said.
The store is just one of man
