President Donald Trump early on Monday said the "full benefit" of his tariff policies would take effect soon, bringing "unprecedented" wealth and national security. He argued in a social media post that foreign buyers stockpiled inventory before his sweeping tariffs were put into place, allowing them to delay payments to the U.S., but, he said, that inventory will run out shortly and make way for record-setting revenue.
