A new WalletHub study shows Mississippi is one of the least charitable states in the U.S. Is the Magnolia State full of Scrooges?

Mississippi does have a high poverty rate, but the study looked at 17 different factors, including volunteer rates, the share of sheltered homeless people and the share of income donated.
