As Thanksgiving approaches, a blast of cold air is set to sweep across the eastern U.S. leaving millions shivering.

Timing Of The Cold

Tuesday: Temperatures will plunge quickly in the Rockies and High Plains as the cold front dives south.

Wednesday: The colder air will then sweep through the Midwest, the lower Mississippi Valley and into the heart of Texas.

Thanksgiving Day: By Thursday, this cold weather will extend across nearly the entire eastern U.
