Baltimore police are investigating several shootings, including fatal incidents in the Forest Park and Walbrook neighborhoods after a violent weekend in the city.

One person was found shot in the the 3200 block of Chelsea Terrace just before 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The victim later died at an area hospital.

This is the sixth different shooting that occurred over the weekend. Eight people were shot and two of them were killed.

Another shooting occurred in the 3100 block of West North Avenue in Walbrook around 2:30 p.m. Saturday, where two people were injured and one man was killed.

“It’s a sad situation that we’ve gotten to this point where the loss of life just means nothing,” a resident said.
