A jilted woman who trashed her ex partner's cars and followed him on dates has been ordered to pay compensation after causing over £10,000 of damage. Joanne Butler embarked on a seven-month harassment campaign after her relationship came to an end, a court has heard.
The 56-year-old sent the victim pictures of the inside of his house, followed him while on dates and trashed his personal property between March and October last year, StokeonTrentLive reports.
Prosecutor Julia Fox at North Staffordshire Justice Centre heard said: “This was an on-and-off again relationship, which ultimately led to Butler refusing to accept the victim wanted nothing to do with her and that the relationship had come to an end.
