HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - Carly Keats scored a career-high 23 points as University of Southern Mississippi women’s basketball rolled to an 86-60 win over Nicholls State University.

Keats drilled six, 3-pointers as USM (6-0) remained unbeaten before an announced 3,121 at Reed Green Coliseum for Saturday’s Native American Heritage Game.

Keats finished 8-of-12 (66.7 percent) from the floor and 6-of-9 (66.7 percent) from beyond the arc to lead all scorers. She also handed out three assists and came up with three steals.

Meloney Thames and Sakyia White each scored 12 points, while Thames grabbed a team-high eight rebounds for the Lady Eagles.

Nicholls was led by Marie Kenembeni’s 19 points off the bench.
