LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating an early morning shooting.

According to officials, the shooting took place around 5:15 a.m.

LMPD’s 3rd Division officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 5300 block of Devers Ave.

When officers arrived, they located a man that had been shot. He was transported to University Hospital with what appear to be non life-threatening injuries. All parties have been accounted for.

The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation.
