Man stabbed near St Pauls pub

A man was stabbed in a serious attack in Bristol. Police were called to Ashley Road in St Pauls at around 5:30am on Saturday, November 22.

At the time, police said one person was in hospital in a serious but stable condition. In an update provided on Monday, November 24, Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that the victim sustained "puncture-like wounds".

The man has since been discharged from hospital. Detectives are now appealing for relevant footage and witnesses to come forward following the incident.

A cordon was put in place near the Criterion in Ashley Road while enquiries were being carried out. Members of the public were told to expect a heightened police presence in the area on Saturday.
