More ski resorts in and around New Mexico are opening for the season.

Taos Ski Valley opens Thursday.

Sipapu opened last week.

Wolf Creek in southwestern Colorado also opened last week.

Red River opened Wednesday.

Purgatory Resort in southwestern Colorado opens Friday.

Ski Santa Fe and Ski Apache both open Saturday.

Angel Fire, Pajarito and Sandia Peak are all scheduled to open December 12.

While it's still unclear how much natural snow will fall this season, Ski New Mexico says that won't hold things back because resorts have snowmaking equipment ready to go.
