The 2025 SBD Austin took place on November 22nd in Texas and proved to be a spectacular viewing experience with dozens of world-class athletes demonstrating their abilities and battling for the title. One that stood out was Joshua Hall , a competitor in the 105-kilogram weight class, who ended up deadlifting 385 kilograms (848.8 pounds) to set a new AMP American National Record.

Joshua Hall recently transitioned to the Powerlifting America (AMP) federation, which is an IPF affiliate for the region of the USA. He made his debut at the SBD Austin and made sure to impress.
