Coastal Carolina Athletics Director Chance Miller, who was at one time a part of the NCAA’s enforcement staff, has been punished by the NCAA for his actions during this past year’s College World Series.
The NCAA announced the punishment earlier this month, issuing a public reprimand to Miller. He has also been suspended for the next regional-round baseball game that Coastal Carolina plays in.
During the College World Series championship series this past season between LSU and Coastal Carolina, Chanticleers coach Kevin Schnall was ejected during the first inning for arguing balls and strikes.
He then went onto the field to continue arguing and was joined by first base coach Matt Schilling, who was also ejected.
