3BALTIMORE , MD – Five young men were arrested Saturday night after police tracked a stolen car involved in an armed carjacking to East Baltimore, authorities said.

Investigators with the Regional Auto Theft Taskforce, aided by the department’s Foxtrot aviation unit, located the vehicle around 8 p.m. on the 1700 block of Mountpelier Street.

Police said the occupants abandoned the car and attempted to flee on foot before being apprehended moments later.
