Another work day brought yet more transportation challenges for BART riders on Monday, as another equipment problem forced the closure of two of its travel lines.

BART spokesperson Anna Duckworth said the latest troubles came from an equipment problem on the tracks near the West Oakland station. As a result, the Red Line and Green Line were closed.

The Green Line runs between the Berryessa/North San Jose and Daly City stations, and the Red Line runs from Richmond to Millbrae.
