Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King publicly wished her and ex Jim Edmonds‘ daughter a happy birthday after temporarily losing custody of her kids.

King, 41, took to Instagram on Monday, November 24, to share a photo of her 9-year-old daughter, Aspen, and wrote, “My favorite female to ever walk the planet. The brightest light, my greatest joy.”

She continued: “A spectacular gift from God was born 9 years ago today. When I learned what love is. I love you Aspen King Edmonds. I love you to infinity.”

The sweet social media post comes less than a week after Us Weekly broke the news that King had lost custody of the three children she shares with Edmonds — Aspen and 7-year-old twin boys Hart and Hayes — following an investigation by Child Protective Services.
