Emergency repairs on the South Bridge will cause rolling stops again tonight on southbound Interstate 83.

The rolling stops that were in place last night will also happen tonight, Monday Nov. 24, on the John Harris Memorial Bridge, also known as the South Bridge, crossing the Susquehanna River between Dauphin and Cumberland counties.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the stops will last up to 15 minutes between 9 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, on southbound I-83 from 17 th Street in Harrisburg to the Lemoyne Exit in Cumberland County.

A right lane restriction remains in place on the bridge between the Second Street and Lemoyne exits so ongoing steel repairs can be completed.
