The body of a man has been found near a funfair in North Wales. Officers from North Wales Police were called to the land near Knightly's Fun Park in Towyn, Conwy , on Sunday, November 23 afternoon.

The area was cordoned off and the public were not allowed to enter the fun fair whilst police conducted its investigation. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and the coroner and the next of kin have been informed.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "On Sunday, 23 November, we received reports that the body of a male had been discovered in Towyn.
