The Detroit Lions got a much-needed win in overtime against the New York Giants on Sunday, 34-27, to keep their hopes of winning the NFC North alive.

One of the stars of the Lions' win over the 2-10 Giants was running back Jahmyr Gibbs , who ran for a career-high 219 yards (15 carries) and two touchdowns while averaging 14.6 yards per carry. With two carries of 49 yards and a 69-yard run to win the game in overtime, Gibbs' career game captured the attention of his quarterback, Jared Goff , who called the third-year running back "as good as they come in this league."
