POSEN, Ill. (WKOW) — Posen police officers arrested Morgan Geyser at a Thornton's truck stop on Western Avenue in Posen, Illinois on Sunday night after a report of Geyser and a male "loitering" behind the building.

Geyser, now 22, is known for her involvement in the 2014 "Slender Man" stabbing. She and another girl, Anissa Weier, admitted to stabbing a friend 19 times to appease the fictional character. The victim survived the attack.

Geyser was found not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect, and had been receiving treatment.

On Saturday around 8 p.m., she cut off her Department of Corrections GPS monitoring bracelet and left a group home in Madison.

Geyser was found Sunday night sleeping on the sidewalk with a male companion, according to the Posen Police Department.
