Mount Mary University professor Marmy Classon recently sat down for an advising meeting with a prospective student and her mother. The student was interested in public relations. Her mom was concerned about the cost of a college degree.
Classon, a professor of communications, suggested a digital marketing major to align with the student's love of social media. The kicker? It could be completed in 95 credits instead of 120, meaning the student could finish in three years instead of the customary four.
