Ryan Seacrest is ready to ring in 2026 with some very special guests.
ABC and Dick Clark Productions on Nov. 24 revealed the cohosts who will join Seacrest on the famed "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" broadcast this year. The "Wheel of Fortune" host, 50, will again be joined in New York City's Times Square by singer Rita Ora.
As the telecast will feature New Year's Eve celebrations in multiple time zones, Chance the Rapper is also serving as the Chicago cohost, while former NFL star Rob Gronkowski and dancer Julianne Hough will host together in Las Vegas.
This will mark the "Dick Clark's New Year’s Rockin' Eve" cohosting debut for Hough, who also happens to be Seacrest's ex-girlfriend. Seacrest and the "Dancing with the Stars" host dated from 2010 to 2013 and have remained on good terms since their split.
When Hough appeared on Seacrest's "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" show in 2022, he said the conversation with his ex-girlfriend was not awkward and noted that some people don't "understand that concept that one can remain friends after a breakup."
He added, "There is nothing uncomfortable about it because we remained friends for years and still are." Hough agreed, saying she and Seacrest still have "respect" and "love" for each other.
The "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" broadcast dates back to the 1970s and was started by late broadcaster Dick Clark. Seacrest stepped in to cohost in 2005 and has remained on the broadcast since Clark's death in 2012.
