Former Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo is often talked about as one of basketball’s smartest minds. He was also a heck of a passer, averaging 7.9 assists per game for his career, which included two championships, one with the Celtics in 2008 and another in 2020 with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Rondo was asked about his passing recently when he appeared as a guest on the All the Smoke podcast, and his response was hilarious.
Rondo was read a list of point guards from NBA history, and he was asked to stop the list when he heard a better passer than him. The list included players ranging from Jason Williams and Celtics legend Bob Cousy to Oscar Robertson and Rondo’s longtime rival, Chris Paul.
