DOOLITTLE, Mo. (KY3) -A dog named Popcorn is safe after becoming trapped in a 12 to 15-foot hole while chasing a raccoon.
The Doolittle Rural Fire Protection District said it took crews nearly three hours to get the dog out of the hole Sunday night. Crews used shovels, extrication tools and bare strength to remove a large amount of heavy concrete and dirt.
The fire district thanked Pace Plumbing out of Rolla for bringing out their camera for rescuers to use.
