COBB COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A car fire is blocking most traffic on I-75 in Cobb County on Monday morning.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), most northbound lanes on I-75 near Barrett Parkway are shut down. One lane is currently open.
The traffic alert was reported just before 11 a.m.

Emergency crews are at the scene working to put out the fire.
No word has been given about what caused the fire or if there are any injuries.
GDOT expects lanes to reopen around 11:25 a.m.
