JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — It only took one second-half score for Carthage to claim Class 5 quarterfinal victory over Capital City Saturday afternoon at Capital City High School in Jefferson City.
The Tigers (11-1) led 22-7 at halftime but after the Cavaliers (8-5) came out with a quick punch, they were looking at smaller 22-17 lead with 2:45 left on the third-quarter clock. ×
