In February of this year, while accepting a SAG Award for his role as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown , Timothée Chalamet declared that he was “in pursuit of greatness.” Noting that many “classily” shy away from embracing such a goal so openly, he invoked the names of other greats, such as Daniel Day-Lewis, Marlon Brando, Viola Davis , Michael Jordan, and Michael Phelps. Many lauded the 29-year-old actor for his brazenness, and his talent across both indies and blockbusters has certainly placed him on the path to his dream.
