Heavy traffic is expected around Levi’s Stadium on Monday when the San Francisco 49ers play the Carolina Panthers in Monday Night Football.
Kickoff is at 5:15 p.m. Tasman Drive will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until at least three hours after the game, the 49ers said.
Traffic will be congested on Highway 101, Highway 237, Interstate 880, Lawrence Expressway, San Tomas Expressway, and Great America Parkway, Santa Clara police said.
Some freeway off-ramps and portions of Great America Parkway will also close.
The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority will run additional services for those attending the game. Its schedule can be found at vta.org.
Parking lots open at 1:45 p.m. Stadium gates open at 3:15 p.m.
