First lady Melania Trump will officially usher in the holiday season on Monday as she receives the White House Christmas Tree.

The 25-foot concolor fir will arrive at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue today, Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at noon ET. The first lady will greet the delivery at the White House's North Drive alongside the Executive Director of the National Christmas Tree Association, Rick Dungey.

This year's tree was grown and will be delivered by Korson’s Tree Farms, the Michigan-based winner of the National Christmas Tree Association’s National Tree Contest in July.

The biannual contest, which is based in St. Louis, gives Christmas tree growers across the country a chance to have their trees featured in the White House and the vice president's residence each Christmas season. Winners of the National Christmas Tree Association’s national tree contest have provided the Official White House Christmas Tree each year since 1966.

As the grand champions, owners Rex and Jessica Korson will present the tree to the first lady. Korson’s Tree Farms is the first Grand Champion from the state of Michigan since 1985, though it did previously win the reserve champion in the 2015 Christmas tree contest, providing that year's official Christmas tree to the vice president's residence.

The tree will be displayed in the Blue Room of the White House, a tradition started in 1912 by President William Howard Taft's children and solidified by first lady Mamie Eisenhower, according to the White House Historical Association.
