No sentence cut for Region man who set fire to hide woman’s body

A Gary man who went to extreme lengths, including setting a building on fire, trying to eliminate the body of a woman who died while doing drugs with the man is entitled to no reduction in his 10½-year prison term, according to the Indiana Court of Appeals.
