There has been no shortage of twists and turns in the 49ers' ongoing, years-long saga with Brandon Aiyuk.

The star wide receiver -- after finally signing a four-year, $120 million contract extension with San Francisco last summer after a lengthy training camp hold-in -- suffered a major knee injury in Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season against the Kansas City Chiefs, tearing his right ACL, MCL and meniscus.

Now, more than one year since the devastating injury, Aiyuk's future with the 49ers is murky as he continues to work his way back to the field.
