Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was nominated for the Ground Player of the Week, for the third time this season, for his performance in Week 12 vs. the Tennessee Titans. Smith-Njigba had eight receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns.
He also set the franchise record for single season receiving yards, surpassing DK Metcalf's 1,303 mark that was set in 2020. After Sunday's game, he currently sits at 1,313 receiving yards.
After the game, teammate Devon Witherspoon said, "I already knew he was going to be capable of doing stuff like this. I mean it's just hard to guard him. When he gets open, he's just so efficient in what he does and then he's got a like a great catch radius. So I'm just a fan watching just like y'all when he's out there. I be so happy and stuff like that because
