The British number one, who had reached a career-high ranking of world number four in June, was sidelined for the rest of the season due to bone bruising in his arm.

In March, Draper secured his first ATP Masters 1000 title at Indian Wells. His run to the trophy included victories over significant opponents such as Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune, and Ben Shelton.
