A week after Alabama football’s kicker publicly shouted at his long snapper following a missed field goal that wound up being the decisive points in the Crimson Tide’s loss to Oklahoma, UA fans let Conor Talty have it . When Talty took the field during Alabama’s win over Eastern Illinois on Saturday, fans at Bryant-Denny Stadium booed him multiple times.
On Monday, speaking during an appearance on The Next Round Live internet show , Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard shared his disapproval.
“It just sucks for the fans to do that, that’s just really, like, classless,” Bernard said. “They shouldn’t be doing that, man. Regardless if he’s making field goals or he’s not.”
Talty missed a short kick during the Eastern Illinois game, dropping him to 11-for-18 on field goal attempts this
