The TV community was stunned last week by the sudden death of veteran PR executive Robert Pietranton , most recently SVP Publicity & Communications for Warner Bros. Television, at the age of 56.
His passing touched people beyond his close circle of colleagues and friends, with his Deadline obit viewed by more than 18,200 to date. For someone who hated attention – Pietranton didn’t even have a proper headshot – he sure is getting some, and deservedly so.
