AKRON, Ohio — Emahni Thomas and Deshawn Stafford, the two men previously arrested in connection to the in Akron's Highland Square neighborhood, have been indicted by a Summit County grand jury.

According to court records, Stafford, 24, has been charged with the following:

Murder with a three-year firearms specification

Felonious Assault with a three-year firearms specification

Discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises with a three-year firearms specification

Having weapons under disability

Trafficking in cocaine - major drug offender specification

Possession of cocaine - major drug offender specification

Stafford is due to be arraigned on Dec. 17 in Summit County Common Pleas Court.
